Around the age of 4, he and his mom came back to the states with help from coyotes to cross the border. Andrew joined the Marines as a supply guy and eventually got into recruiting where he spent most of his military career. In this episode, Andrew throws out so many gems about how he used the skills acquired in the Marines to start and run multiple successful businesses. Thank you. Very sharp young man. I enjoyed listening to him and his perspective on enlistment and recruitment. I really appreciated my military experience and listening to his. Sports and military are the best two things other than becoming a Christian that I've been experienced in my life. There is a level of maturity that both give that prepare us for the first rest of our life. I'm grateful!

I retired from the USMC myself and did recruiting from 03-06. Hardest tour of my 20 years. I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything in this world. I was standing in Elmira at thw last day of my recruiting duty tour and 3 weeks later i was standing in a sandlot in Iraq. Talk about a mindfuck. Semper Fi brother.

I got a similar story
I thought being an MP I was gonna be sitting in a patrol Vic handing out tickets and putting dudes in cuffs… absolutely not. I ended up being a “Field MP” and going out to the field training with grunts on a regular basis, patrolling, operating machine guns, room clearing… that whole experience. I ended up falling in love with it
